Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with other platforms. The platform has recommended to check their listings and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Measurement Approach Changes Previously, the sizing featured one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10. The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10. For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. Shopper Accounts A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Another user, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she said. Necessary Adjustments Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing". "Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
